BAIRES RAFFAELLI, an architect born in Fabriano (AN) 1975, graduated in Architecture from the University “La Sapienza” in Rome with honors. For many years, he has taught and conducted research in various architectural design courses in both the faculty of architecture and engineering. He obtained a doctorate in Architecture, Theory, and Planning. His research has focused on housing, population density, and public spaces, with proposals that have been studied in academic contexts and have led to collaborations with universities, public authorities, and private clients. As a co-founder of the BRRE Architects studio, he has received numerous national and international awards for his work, which includes urban planning for accessible buildings and areas in various Italian cities. His firm, BRRE Architects, undertakes projects in both the public and private sectors, showcasing innovative designs and research that have been featured in numerous articles in architecture magazines. Moreover, he has authored several books with BIS Publishers, including “The Fast Guide To Architectural Form,” “The Fast Guide to Accessibility Design,” and “The Fast Guide to Fundamentals of Architectural Design.” In 2017, he received the prestigious “Bruno Zevi Award for the Diffusion of Architectural Culture” in recognition of his book “The Fast Guide To Architectural Form.
